I started my career in consultancy as Junior Engineer for USAID funded Bridge construction project with Prokalpa Upodesta Limited, Dhaka. Then I joined LGED and worked for over 30 years of Civil Engineering and Procurement Management profession. I gained experience as a Procurement Specialist on Lien for a World Bank funded project and contributed to Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority. In LGED I had the opportunity to contribute to several infrastructure development projects funded by ADB, GIZ, IFAD JICA, USAID and Government of Bangladesh in different capacities of Project Director, Deputy Project Director, Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer. Now I aim to promote Professional Engineering, update and modernize the AMIE curriculum, minimize prevailing huge disparity among Engineering educational institutions in public and private sectors, etc.
