Engr. A. B. M. Kamruzzaman, Divisional Railway Manager, Bangladesh Railway, Chittagong is an accomplished engineer with more than 20-year career in the field of engineering and project management. He joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Railway Engineering) in the 25^th batch on 21^st August 2006 and served in various engineering and management positions. Before that, he worked for Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Co. Ltd. (BAPEX) as an Assistant Manager from 21^st September 2004. In his career, he earned core skills in engineering, procurement & contract management, railway operation, project management & evaluation, economic analysis and public policy & regulations. He is experienced in many investment & Technical Assistance projects of Bangladesh Railway funded by Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and Multilateral Development Bank (MDBs) as a dedicated project team member or cross functional manager. He teamed up with other many organizations as an external expert.

Mr. Kamruzzaman completed his bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2004. From same university, he obtained Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering. He also obtained Master of Science in Engineering Project Management with Distinction from Lancaster University, UK. He has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, USA.
