Jalaluddin Al-Quaderi

F M M Jalaluddin Al-Quaderi currently serves as a Registrar at the Bangladesh Professional Engineers Registration Board. In this role he helps in the process to enroll the engineers in the Electronic Permitting System (ECPS) of RAJUK as registered engineers to meet the requirements of local authorities ensuring their quality of works. He also helps establishment of standards for enrolment as professional engineers (PEng), monitored that prescribed standards are maintained, and assist in development of the standards to meet the international requirements.

Jalaluddin Al-Quaderi graduated from BUET in 1980 in civil engineering and had his MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and MSc from UK. He joined in Roads & Highways Department through Bangladesh Civil Service Exams and served there for about 20 years. He mainly worked in project monitoring of RHD and road maintenance planning of its National & Regional highway network. Then he joined in the government as a Deputy Secretary and served in different ministries including Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Primary & Mass Education, and Science & Technology Ministry, and represented Bangladesh abroad in many occasions. He also served as National Focal Point for EFA goals. He retired as an Additional Secretary to the government in 2015.

After retirement from government service he became involved in consultancy services. Most of his consultancy services were related to transport sector of Bangladesh.
